Mr. Wong has served as President of the Board of Directors of the Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County; President of the San Gabriel Valley Bar Association; State Bar Mediation Committee; Board of Directors, Chinese American Museum for the City of Los Angeles. As chairman of SCCLA's UPL Committee he tackled UPL statewide.​
